Meet our team of dedicated professionals!
Rickey Crawford is a long time resident of Chicago’s South Side. He has over 21 years of experience in the steel erection industry. As a member of Chicago’s Local 1 Iron Workers Union, he’s erected steel for some of the City’s biggest steel erection projects. Chicago’s Solider Field, McCormick Place, Rush Hospital and many more. Within this time, Rickey also worked for the Chicago Transit Authority maintaining\repairing the city’s bridges. In 2016, Rickey began a new startup venture in the importing industry. Working directly with manufacturers & factory’s in numerous country’s like India, Italy and Vietnam he has successfully developed a business model that has translated to rapid growth within his Importing Company. Rickey’s passion for the structural steel industry combined with his business development skills birthed the beginnings of Heritage Steel Services. A proud Union Contractor that delivers professional and on-time work with every job.
Marlan Hicks has extensive experience managing projects of varying industry, size, and scope. Having spent 11 years in general contracting and steel construction, he brings a necessary depth of perspective, acumen, and detail orientation invaluable for the successful delivery of projects on time and on budget. Marlan has estimated, negotiated, and managed work on projects as expansive as The Obama Presidential Center and as small as additions to single family homes. Exposure to these projects has afforded Marlan familiarity with projects requiring AISC's Chapter N Quality Control procedures, delegated design elements, and a variety of other complications ranging from working in contained hospital environments to industrial chemical manufacturing facilities.
Adam Sacramento is a proud second generation member of Chicago’s Local #1 ironworkers. He has 23 years experience in the steel erection industry. Adam has worked on countless buildings and bridges of all scales in his proud career. Adam is a natural leader with excellent relationship, skills and expertise in all facets of his trade, his work ethic and passion for steel erection set him apart and promote high level team building. Adam believes in safe / efficient/ quality work with pride “The heritage steel way”
